I cannot get rid of the default Corporate logo

This is my fault, but I don’t mind admitting that…when I first developed this theme I neglected to remove the logo image from the css file because during development, I wanted it to load automatically before I did the theme settings in the admin. So when you added your own logo, you might have discovered the old one is loading behind your new one.

On my next update (at the time of writing this tutorial), I will fix that, but for now, the following solution will help.

Removing the Default Corporate Logo

Open the style.css and look for this style code:

#defaultlogo, #logo {width:410px; min-height:57px; background:url(images/logo.png) no-repeat; float:left;}

Then, remove the background part:

background:url(images/logo.png) no-repeat;

Or, you can comment that part out if you still want to keep it:

#defaultlogo, #logo {width:410px; min-height:57px; /* background:url(images/logo.png) no-repeat; */  float:left;}

Now save the file and the old logo should be gone.
